"For us, we view our software as being a very important asset for us. And also for consumers who are purchasing the game," Miyamoto said in an interview with Mashable. "We want to make sure that we're able to offer it to them in a way that the software is secure, and that they're able to play it in a stable environment," continued the "Super Mario Run" game producer.
Miyamoto views the "Super Mario Run" mobile game as a highly important asset to Nintendo as he wanted to impose the internet connection to all three "Super Mario Run" modes. The Japanese game designer also wanted to make sure that the consumers will be playing a secure and a stable environment in the upcoming game.
The "Super Mario Run" will have three modes, two of them will be needing a lot of network connectivity which will play as a "traditional single player experience" according to Forbes. The Nintendo mobile game will have a feature that will allow players talk to other teams making the offline version difficult to deliver.
"Super Mario Run" will still be a hit despite the game needing an internet connection and will also be the biggest selling game for the holiday season according to WWG. The game is also expected to make $70 million in the first week of its release.
"Super Mario Run" will be released on Apple devices starting December 1, the game is initially free when downloaded but will cost $9.99 to unlock all of its features. Stay tuned here on GameNGuide as we will keep you updated in the latest "Super Mario Run" news.
